As we think about the millions of daily activities of volunteers across this country, we see that cooperation is always the key to flying farther - the kind of cooperation which assumes leadership without being asked; the kind of cooperation which is as open and honest and instinctive as the marvellous Canada geese flying in formation; the kind of cooperation which never wonders what is in it for me; the kind of cooperation which protects the formation no matter how strong the headwinds.
Quand nous songeons aux millions d'activités menées quotidiennement par les bénévoles à travers le pays, nous nous rendons compte que la coopération est toujours essentielle si nous voulons aller plus loin - ce type de coopération où chacun prend la relève sans qu'on le lui demande; ce type de coopération ouvert, honnête et instinctif comme dans le cas des merveilleuses oies du Canada volant en formation; ce type de coopération où personne n'est intéressé; ce type de coopération, enfin, qui protège la formation qu'importe la force des vents.
