According to reports, many of the areas destroyed by the recent fires in Arcadia are to be included in the Greek national land register, notably in the province of Mantinea, where the historic, exceptionally beautiful and unique fir-tree forest is to be found, famed in mythology as the home of the god Pan.
Selon certaines informations, la Grèce projetterait d'ajouter à son registre national du cadastre une grande partie des forêts d'Arcadie qui ont été récemment ravagées par des incendies, notamment la forêt de Mainalo, située dans la province de Mantinée et qui constitue une pinède historique, unique en son genre et d'une beauté exceptionnelle, dont la mythologie a fait la demeure du dieu Pan.
