We in the CDA delegation in this House demand from the Commissioner that the line of approach similar to the one we have in the Netherlands, the so-called Veerman approach, should be extended Europe-wide: a ban on the imports of all poultry, so including cooked meat, from South-East Asia, a ban on the imports of ornamental birds, tighter control on flights from Asia and disinfectant mats on all international airports with direct or indirect connections to Asia.
Nous autres, membres de la délégation CDA de cette Assemblée, demandons au commissaire qu’une ligne d’approche similaire à celle que nous appliquons aux Pays-Bas, autrement dit l’approche "Veerman", soit étendue à l’échelle européenne: interdiction d’importer des volailles d’Asie du Sud-Est, y compris de la viande cuite, interdiction d’importer des oiseaux d’agrément, contrôles renforcés sur les vols en provenance de l’Asie et tapis désinfectants dans tous les aéroports internationaux qui ont des correspondances directes ou indirectes vers l’Asie.
