From a reading of the bills, it appears to me that they enshrine in statute the new names of the departments and ministers and spell out the mandate of international trade, not in the cryptic language of the order in council but in the more Cartesian vocabulary of legislative drafting.
Il me semble, après la lecture de ces deux projets de loi, qu’ils officialisent par un texte de loi les nouveaux noms des ministères et des ministres et définissent le mandat du Commerce international, et ce, non dans les termes succincts du décret du gouverneur en conseil, mais dans les termes plus cartésiens propres au style législatif.
