About 43% of the budgetary commitments in the environment sector for the year 2002 were dedicated to projects combining the provision of drinking water with the collection of sewage water, whereas one third was devoted to projects for sewage collection and treatment systems, focussing essentially on the renewal, repair or extension of sewerage networks and the erection of new or the refurbishment/upgrading of existing wastewater treatment plants.
Environ 43 % de l'enveloppe budgétaire consacrée au secteur de l'environnement pour l'année 2002 était destinée à des projets combinant l'approvisionnement en eau potable et la collecte des eaux usées, tandis qu'un tiers du budget était consacré à des projets de collecte et de traitement des eaux usées, essentiellement axés sur la rénovation, la réparation ou l'extension des réseaux d'assainissement et la construction de nouvelles stations d'épuration ou la remise à neuf des stations d'épuration existantes.
