(2) The British Thermal Unit referred to in subparagraph 3(1)(b)(ii) of the Act shall be defined as the quantity of energy that must be added to one pound avoirdupois of distilled water to raise its temperature from 60°F to 61°F under standard pressure and is represented in these Regulations by the symbol “Btu " .
(2) Le British Thermal Unit mentionné au sous-alinéa 3(1)b)(ii) de la Loi correspond à la quantité d’énergie nécessaire pour faire passer, à la pression normale, de 60 °F à 61 °F la température d’une livre d’eau distillée et est désigné dans le présent règlement par le symbole «Btu ».
