The aid from ECHO, the European Community Humanitarian Office, is aimed at supplying food aid over the next four winter months to more than 30 000 Tajik refugees in the Balx (Mazar-i-Charif) and Kunduz regions of northern Afghanistan and, where possible, financial assistance towards the repatriation of Tajiks wishing to return home. The operation will be run by the UNHCR.
L'aide d'ECHO, l'Office Humanitaire de la Communauté Européenne, est destinée à donner, pour ces 4 mois d'hiver, une aide alimentaire à plus de 30.000 Tadjiks, réfugiés dans les régions de Balx (Mazar-i-Charif) et du Kunduz au Nord de l'Afghanistan.
