The Commission will launch a technical study under the External Borders Fund and coordinated with other ongoing preparatory works to design the system architecture and to estimate the approximate financial costs, for land and maritime borders and including technical specifications for a secured communication network between the national coordination centres and FRONTEX, making use of existing networks where feasible.
La Commission engagera, au titre du Fonds pour les frontières extérieures, une étude technique coordonnée à d'autres travaux préparatoires en cours, en vue de concevoir l'architecture et d'estimer le coût, pour les frontières terrestres et maritimes (y compris les spécifications techniques), d'un réseau de communication sécurisé entre les centres nationaux de coordination et FRONTEX, s'appuyant autant que possible sur les réseaux existants.
