Now Calgary wants to use some of the CFB land to build a veterans' hospital, some low income housing and a college but the government has dispatched unelected Senator Dan Hays, president of the Liberal Party, to tell Calgary's elected officials they are going to have to pay through the nose to buy the land they already own.
Aujourd'hui, Calgary voudrait utiliser une partie des terrains de la BFC afin d'y bâtir un hôpital pour anciens combattants, des logements pour personnes à faible revenu et un collège. Mais le gouvernement a dépêché le sénateur non élu Dan Hays, président du Parti libéral, pour dire aux représentants élus de Calgary qu'il leur faudra verser une forte somme s'ils veulent acquérir des terrains qu'ils possèdent déjà.
