2. Asks the secretaries-general of the institutions to consider the administrative, budgetary and financial implications of the forthcoming enlargement, with part
icular reference to staffing requirements, office space and the need to refurbish buildings currently in use; asks in particular that a report be provided by 31 May 2000 showing what steps could be taken in this context to ensure cost-effective translations of a good standard, e.g. by freelance and other outside sources; takes the view that
