(e) in the case of ships fitted with fixed smothering steam installations for cargo spaces, the installations shall be tested if the holds are clear of cargo by removing blank flanges, where fitted, and injecting a short blow of steam into each of the spaces in turn;
e) dans le cas des navires munis d’installations fixes à vapeur d’eau pour les locaux à marchandises, ces installations seront essayées si les cales ne renferment pas de marchandises, en enlevant les rondelles obturatrices, s’il y en a, et en injectant un court jet de vapeur dans chacun des locaux à tour de rôle;
