Democracy is about being able to say bye-bye as well as hello, and that is important: knowing that you have the right to use your ballot box, once, twice, three times, four times to change your government, to demand of your government, is critical, and you can only do that when democracy is deep and flourishing.
La démocratie, c’est pouvoir dire au revoir tout comme bonjour, et c’est important: savoir que vous avez le droit d’aller aux urnes une fois, deux fois, trois fois, quatre fois pour changer votre gouvernement et pour en exiger des mesures, c’est essentiel, et vous ne pouvez faire cela que dans le cadre d’une démocratie enracinée et florissante.
