Investment at the processing stage will focus on: - intake facilities allowing careful handling of the grapes, due account being taken not to exceed a certain volume per lot; - bulk storage capacity, so that lots might be built up with account taken of the characteristics of the various vine varieties and vineyard-sites; - bottled storage capacity, given that quality wines need longer ageing; - bottling and labelling plants that enable product quality to be maintained and ensure that the wines are recognizable to the consumer.
