I am extraordinarily pleased with the way that the men and women of the Canadian Forces have risen to the challenge, in all the combat or humanitarian operations and the fact that I am able to see a company commander in Afghanistan, Major Eleanor Taylor, commanding a company of 150 infantryman in combat and doing an extraordinary job.
