The favourable climatic and soil conditions have encouraged the growth of hygrophilous and sub-hygrophilous plants which derive from the oceanic character of the Basque Country and the north of Navarre.
Les conditions climatiques et pédologiques favorables ont permis le développement de populations hygrophytes et subhygrophites, propres à la nature océanique du Pays basque et du nord de la Navarre.
