(3) The lifeboat shall be loaded with evenly distributed weights equal to the weight of the equipment, food, water and persons to be carried and shall then be suspended freely by the lifting hooks or releasing gear and dropped into the water from a height of 2.29 m, the height being measured from the keel to the water.
(3) L’embarcation sera chargée de poids également répartis égaux aux poids de l’armement, des vivres, de l’eau et des personnes à transporter et suspendue librement aux crocs de hissage ou à l’appareil de dégagement puis on la laissera tomber à l’eau d’une hauteur de 2,29 m, la hauteur étant mesurée de la quille à la surface de l’eau.
