17. All catch that is caught by a Canadian registered commercial fishing vessel in Canadian territorial waters and then delivered by that vessel to a port outside Canada, or delivered from that vessel to a foreign registered commercial fishing vessel bound for a port outside Canada, shall be reported in writing by the exporter to the chief officer of customs at an export reporting office, immediately on the return of the vessel to Canada.

8. Takes the view that the rules applicable to representatives of public authorities and of organisations working in the public interest which are bound by constitutional provisions and fundamental rights must not be the same as those applicable to representatives of special interests; maintains, in particular, that only autonomous public bodies should be asked to register, and not public authorities themselves;

Special rules under the GST/HST system allow an unregistered non-resident person to acquire goods and most services in respect of goods, in Canada, without paying GST/HST where the goods are bound for export and remain in the possession of registered Canadian service providers before being exported.

Counting of and registering information on persons on board is also required in respect of ships which depart from a port located outside the EU but which are bound for an EU port, regardless of whether the ships are flying the flag of an EU or a non-EU country.

(5) Where an error is made in the Journals of the Senate in recording the attendance to business of a Senator, either because the Administration was not notified on time under subsection (4) or for any other reason, the attendance to business of the Senator will be entered in the Register upon notice received and the correction to the Journals of the Senate will be made in the bound volume for the session.
