8. Notes the setting up of an informal Group of Advisers on the Ethical Implications of Biotechnology, as announced in the first report submitted under Article 16(c) of the Directive, which is mandated to analyse important issues surrounding biotechnological inventions and to advise the Commission on the preparation of future reports;
8. prend acte, suite au premier rapport transmis au titre de l'article 16, point c), de la directive, de la mise en place d'un groupe informel de conseillers sur les implications éthiques de la biotechnologie qui a pour mandat d'analyser les questions importantes touchant aux inventions biotechnologiques et assiste la Commission dans la préparation de ses rapports;
