We've taken notice of the Baking Association of Canada's resolution, and it's quite clear that when they say they want choice, it's with the option of turning away from labelling, reformulating their products, or finding other suppliers, and if they can't do that because of the necessity of the ingredient, we believe some manufacturers will actually withdraw certain products from the market rather than label them and put them on the shelves.
Nous avons pris note de la résolution adoptée par l'Association canadienne de la boulangerie et il est très clair que, lorsqu'elles exigent la possibilité de choisir, c'est celui d'éviter l'étiquetage, de modifier la composition de leurs produits ou de trouver d'autres fournisseurs; si ses membres n'y parviennent pas parce qu'un ingrédient leur manque, nous pensons que certains fabricants vont retirer leurs produits du marché plutôt que de les étiqueter et les mettre en vente.
