We, the non-native, permanent, residents of the Nass Valley and the Irene Meadows Community, would like it to be known to the members of the senate that Mr. Bill Young, not a permanent resident (owner of Tillicum Lodge and Nass Camp, a business operation) does not represent our feelings or opinions on the Nisga'a treaty and lands claims.

Mr. Brian Anthony: No. We deal with heritage buildings of all sorts, whether it's the Viking settlements at L'Anse-aux-Meadows—although I gather now that whether that was the first Viking settlement is under dispute—or native habitations.
