Calls on the Commission and the Member States, in cooperation with the competent EU Agencies, to devise and promote prudent use guidelines aimed at reducing non-essential and inappropriate exposure to antimicrobials as part of a holistic approach to human and veterinary medicine, livestock farming, agriculture, aquaculture and horticulture;
