The task force was always cognizant of the need to ensure that our recommendations need not only provide a reasonable probability for a successful launch and a sustainable business model for the new CWB, but we had to balance this with the need to ensure that future enhancements to the competitive regime in grain marketing, handling, transporting, and processing would still proceed and that we would not see an erosion or flight of capital from the industry.
Les membres du groupe de travail ont toujours été conscients qu'il fallait non seulement que leurs recommandations aient de grandes chances de réussite et proposent un modèle opérationnel durable pour la nouvelle CCB, mais aussi qu'elles tiennent compte des améliorations futures qui seront rapportées au régime concurrentiel de la commercialisation, de la manutention, du transport et de la transformation du grain afin qu'il continue d'évoluer sans créer l'érosion du capital de l'industrie.
