If at the start of the contract a procedure to calculate the lending rate is agreed between the household or non-financial corporation and the reporting agent for a certain period of time, for example 6-month EURIBOR plus 2 percentage points for three years, the initial rate fixation period is not considered to be three years, but six months, since the value of the interest rate may change every six months during the three years.

The moisture content is determined by weighing before and after drying, the balance being calibrated in such a way that the reading given by the 10 g quantity used corresponds directly to the moisture content value in %.
