(ii) in the case of an application by a non-Canadian air carrier, furnish the same information as required by these Regulations from Canadian air carriers but the proposed itinerary shall include a first stop, in the territory of the applicant’s country, of such a duration that ongoing transportation or return transportation from that territory shall not be commenced prior to the fourth day after the scheduled day of departure from the point of origin of the tour, except that the duration of such a first stop need not be longer than 72 hours from the scheduled hour and day of departure of the ITC where that country is within an area spec ...[+++]ified in paragraph (3)(g);

the management, restoration and monitoring of NATURA 2000 sites which are affected by fishing activities, and the rehabilitation of inland waters in accordance with Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (30), including spawning grounds and migration routes for migratory species, without prejudice to point (e) of Article 40(1) of this Regulation and, where relevant, with the participation of inland fishermen;

(b)actions implementing the comprehensive network in accordance with Chapter II of Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013, when such actions contribute to bridging missing links, facilitating cross-border traffic flows or removing bottlenecks and when those actions also contribute to the development of the core network or interconnect core network corridors, or when such actions contribute to the deployment of ERTMS on principal routes of rail freight corridors as defined in the Annex to Regulation (EU) No 913/2010, up to a ceiling of 5 % of the financial envelope for transport as specified in Article 5 of this Regulation.

(2) Subject to subsection (3), where goods are transported by a carrier from rail to a vessel for transportation by water over any part of the carrier’s rail route, that transportation of goods by water shall be subject to the liabilities, limitations and exemptions provided by any Act applicable to transportation of goods by water in addition to any applicable provision of these Regulations that are not inconsistent with that Act.

1. This Regulation lays down detailed rules for the implementation of air traffic management (ATM) network functions in accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 551/2004 in order to allow optimum use of airspace in the single European sky and ensure that airspace users can operate preferred trajectories, while allowing maximum access to airspaces and air navigation services.
