considérant que les autorités vétérinaires nationales responsables se sont engagées à notifier à la Commission et aux États membres par télex, téléfax ou télégramme, dans les vingt-quatre heures, la confirmation de l'apparition de toute maladie ou infection des équidés de la liste A et B de l'Office international des épizooties (OIE) ou l'adoption de mesures de vaccination contre l'une d'entre elles ou, dans une période appropriée, tout changement proposé aux règles nationales d'importation d'équidés;
Whereas the responsible national veterinary authorities have undertaken to notify the Commission and the Member States, by telegram, telex or telefax, within 24 hours of the confirmation of the occurrence of any infectious or contagious disease in equidae of lists A and B of the International Office of Epizootic Diseases or of the adoption of vaccination against any of them or, within an appropriate period, of any changes in the national import rules concerning equidae;
