Gerrard (secrétaire d'État (Sciences, Recherche et Développement)), Que le projet de loi C-53, Loi constituant le ministère du Patrimoine canadien et modifiant ou abrogeant certaines lois, soit maintenant lu une deuxième fois et renvoyé au Comité permanent du patrimoine canadien; Et de l'amendement de M Tremblay (Rimouski Témis couata), appuyée par M Gagnon (Québec), Qu'on modifie la motion en retranchant tous les mots suivant le mot « Que » et en les remplaçant par ce qui suit :
The House resumed consideration of the motion of Mr. Dupuy (Minister of Canadian Heritage), seconded by Mr. Gerrard (Secretary of State (Science, Research and Development)), That Bill C-53, An Act to establish the Department of Canadian Heritage and to amend and repeal certain other Acts, be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage; And of the amendment of Mrs. Tremblay (Rimouski Témiscouata), seconded by Mrs. Gagnon (Québec), That the motion be amended by striking out all the words after the word ``That'' and substituting the following:
