Ce faisant, les modifications apportées soutiennent aussi l’objectif politique consistant à clarifier la répartition des tâches entre la Commission, l’AESA et l’organisation Eurocontrol, de façon à ce que la Commission se concentre sur la réglementation économique et technique et que l’AESA soit son agent technique pour la rédaction de la réglementation technique et la supervision, tandis qu’Eurocontrol se concentrerait sur des tâches opérationnelles articulées notamment autour du concept de gestionnaire de réseau[5].
In doing so, the amendment also supports the political objective of ensuring clarity of tasks between the Commission, EASA and the Eurocontrol organisation so that , the Commission focuses on economic and technical regulation, with EASA acting as its agent on technical regulation drafting and oversight, while Eurocontrol will focus on operational tasks, in particular built around the Network Manager concept[5].
