Avant d’amorcer l’approche en vue de l’atterrissage, le pilote commandant de bord s’assure que, compte tenu des informations dont il dispose, les conditions météorologiques régnant sur l’aérodrome ou le site d’exploitation et l’état de la piste ou de la FATO devant être utilisée n’empêchent pas d’effectuer une approche, un atterrissage ou une approche interrompue en sécurité.
Before commencing an approach to land, the pilot-in-command shall be satisfied that, according to the information available, the weather at the aerodrome or the operating site and the condition of the runway or FATO intended to be used would not prevent a safe approach, landing or missed approach.
