Si le sucre est destiné à être incorporé dans les aliments composés pour l'allaitement du bétail et si un contrôle physique est effectué lors de la fabrication de l'aliment concerné, l'État membre en cause peut admettre, sur demande de l'intéressé, que la dénaturation soit effectuée par un mélange homogène de, au minimum, 3,5 kilogrammes de sel non dénaturé ou dénaturé, avec 100 kilogrammes de sucre, si le sucre, ainsi dénaturé, est dissout avec au minimum 25 kilogrammes de fécule ou d'amidon gonflant et ensuite séché par laminage.
2. Where the sugar is intended for inclusion in milk substitute compound feedingstuffs and a physical check is carried out during the manufacture of the feedingstuff concerned, the Member State in question may, on application by the person concerned, allow the sugar to be denatured by the homogeneous admixture of at least 3 75 kg of salt, whether or not denatured, with each 100 kg of sugar, if the sugar denatured in this way is dissolved with at least 25 kg of swelling starch and then dried by rolling.
