Je me battais pour que l'on englobe la marijuana dans les substances étudiées et on m'a rétorqué qu'il serait trop difficile de surmonter tous les obstacles réglementaires érigés par la Loi réglementant certaines drogues et autres substances.
As I said, I was in a meeting in Vancouver a week and a half ago where Health Canada was funding some limited research into complementary therapies for HIV. I was strongly advocating that we look at marijuana as one of the substances for those research protocols, and people said it would just be too difficult to try to clear all of the regulatory hurdles to deal with the issues arising from the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
