Par décision interlocutoire du 20 décembre 1996, l'Immigration Adjudicator a posé trois questions préjudicielles relatives à l'interprétation de l'article 40, premier alinéa, de l'accord de coopération entre la Communauté économique européenne et le royaume du Maroc, signé à Rabat le 27 avril 1976 et approuvé au nom de la Communauté par le règlement (CEE) n 2211/78 du Conseil, du 26 septembre 1978 (ci-après «l'accord CEE-Maroc»).
By preliminary determination of 20 December 1996, the Immigration Adjudicator referred to the Court for a preliminary ruling three questions on the interpretation of the first paragraph of Article 40 of the Cooperation Agreement between the European Economic Community and the Kingdom of Morocco, signed in Rabat on 27 April 1976 and concluded on behalf of the Community by Council Regulation (EEC) No 2211/78 of 26 September 1978 (hereinafter 'the EEC-Morocco Agreement').
