"biodégradation finale en aérobiose": le niveau de biodégradation obtenu quand l'agent de surface est totalement dégradé par des micro-organismes en présence d'oxygène avec, pour résultat, sa décomposition en dioxyde de carbone, en eau et en sels minéraux de tout autre élément présent (minéralisation), mesurée par les méthodes d'essai visées à l'annexe III, et en nouveaux constituants cellulaires microbiens (biomasse);
"Ultimate aerobic biodegradation" means the level of biodegradation achieved when the surfactant is totally used by micro-organisms in the presence of oxygen resulting in its breakdown to carbon dioxide, water and mineral salts of any other elements present (mineralisation), as measured by test methods listed in Annex III, and new microbial cellular constituents (biomass).
