Cette décision vise à poursuivre et à consolider les développements entrepris avec le programme CADDIA (Coopération dans l'Automatisation des Données de la Documentation dans les Importations/Exportations et l'Agriculture) afin d'assurer, dans le cadre de l'ouverture du Marché intérieur, la mise en oeuvre rapide du règlement (CEE) n° 3330/91 relatif aux statistiques des échanges de biens entre Etats membres (INTRASTAT) par un recours accru au traitement automatique et à la transmission électronique de l'information.
The purpose of the Decision is to continue and consolidate the developments begun with the Caddia programme (Co-operation in Automation of Data and Documentation for Imports/Exports and Agriculture) in order to ensure, in the context of the opening of the Internal Market, rapid implementation of Council Regulation (EEC) No 3330/91 on the statistics relating to the trading of goods between Member States (Intrastat) by increased use of automatic processing and electronic transmission of information.
