Le 30 octobre, divers comités du Sénat ont été autorisés à examiner la teneur du projet de loi C-45, Loi n 2 portant exécution de certaines dispositions du budget déposé au Parlement le 29 mars 2012 et mettant en œuvre d'autres mesures, déposé à la Chambre de commune le 18 octobre 2012, avant que ce projet de loi ne soit soumis au Sénat. En d'autres termes, le comité a été autorisé à mener une étude préliminaire du projet de loi.
On October 30, various committees of the Senate were authorized to examine the subject matter, in other words conduct a pre-study, of Bill C-45, A second Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 29, 2012 and other measures, introduced in the House of Commons on October 18, 2012, in advance of the said bill coming before the Senate.
