Since 2005 more specifically, the Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers has on behalf of the Canadian maple syrup industry — in close cooperation with the Canadian Maple Syrup Advisory Committee or the table Mr. Poitras is a member of — has been developing cutting-edge expertise in innovation and adding value with maple.

Welcomes the suggested setting up of the European Security Research Advisory Board; considers that, given the current lack of a policy formulation superstructure, the need exists for clearer information on whether the Advisory Board will prove sufficient and be prepared to effectively advise on the content of security research and address programme operational problems; underlines that the European Parliament should be represented in the European Security Research Advisory Board by five members, including the Chairmen of the responsible Committees (the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Subcommittee on Security and Defence, the Committee on Industry, Research ...[+++] and Energy, the Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection and the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs) or their representatives;
