(b) pour corruption, c'est-à-dire pour avoir promis, offert ou donné, directement ou par l'intermédiaire de tiers, un avantage de quelque ordre qu'il soit à un fonctionnaire ou à un agent public d'un État membre, d'un pays tiers ou d'un organisme international ou à toute autre personne, en faveur d'elle-même ou d'un tiers, afin que cette personne réalise ou s'abstienne de réaliser un acte, en violation de ses obligations professionnelles;
(b) of corruption, that is to say, of having promised, offered or given, whether directly or via third parties, a benefit of whatever kind to a civil servant or public agent of a Member State, a third country or an international organisation or to any person for the benefit of that person or a third party, with the intention that such person will carry out or refrain from carrying out any act in breach of his professional obligations;
