18. exhorte la Commission à promouvoir la création d'un réseau européen stable, basé sur les infrastructures physiques existantes dans les États membres et destiné à l'observation et à la récolte de données du milieu marin, qui faciliterait l'échange d'informations entre les opérateurs du secteur et les organismes de recherche européens, et maintiendrait l'Union dans une position d'excellence; exhorte la Commission à tenir particulièrement compte, au sein de ce réseau, des pôles de recherche existants dans les régions ultrapériphériques;
18. Urges the Commission to promote the creation of a stable European network, based on the existing physical infrastructure in the Member States and geared to the observation of and collection of data on the marine environment, that would facilitate the exchange of information between operators in the sector and European research bodies, and would maintain the EU in a position of excellence; calls on the Commission to take particular account for this network of the research centres existing in the outermost regions;
