Deux bustes en bronze témoignent de l’héritage francophone au Canada : l’un, de Samuel de Champlain (mort en 1635), surnommé le « Père de la Nouvelle-France », et l’autre, du sénateur Raoul Dandurand, un homme politique canadien influent qui fut sénateur (de 1898 à 1942), ministre et homme d’État de renommée internationale et, de 1905 à 1909, Président du Sénat.
