Par conséquent, je crois que ces trois motions devraient être renvoyées à un comité spécial où nos collègues accusés auront la possibilité de se défendre et de répondre à nos questions et où nous pourrons obtenir l'avis d'experts des questions constitutionnelles et parlementaires, de manière à ne pas faire fausse route, ainsi que l'avis d'experts juridiques qui nous permettront de nous assurer de ne pas nuire aux enquêtes actuelles de la police.
Consequently, I believe that these three motions should be referred to a special committee where our accused colleagues will have an opportunity to defend themselves and answer our questions, and where we will be able to seek guidance from constitutional and parliamentary authorities to ensure that we have embarked on a proper path, and from legal experts to ensure that we do nothing that could prejudice the ongoing police investigations.
