Un élément électrique ou électronique, un matériel ou accessoire, fixé à l’appareil ou utilisé avec celui-ci, qui a ou peut avoir une influence sur l’exactitude de l’appareil, doit fonctionner convenablement en dépit des variations permanentes ou passagères de fréquence, de voltage et d’ondes du courant électrique, et malgré les perturbations du champ électromagnétique et électrostatique environnant qui peuvent se produire au cours de l’usage prévu.
124. Any electrical or electronic components, equipment or accessories attached to or used in conjunction with a machine that have or can have an effect on the accuracy of the machine shall function properly despite such steady-state and transient variations in the frequency, voltage and waveform of the electrical supply and disturbances in the surrounding electromagnetic and electrostatic field as may normally exist in the intended service.
