Notes that the coordinated package of personalised services to be co-funded includes measures for the reintegration of 1 000 redundant workers into employment such as vocational guidance and counselling, vocational training courses and internships, assistance in initiating independent activities, renting the production space and paying the rent for the project’s duration; travel, interview, participation, subsistence and internship allowances, mentoring after employment integration;

(c) the Minister has notified the provincial or municipal authority that paid the recipient the advance, assistance or welfare payment of the date that an allowance was authorized to be paid to that recipient and within 30 days of such notification the Minister receives from that authority a declaration in which the recipient had, before receiving the advance, assistance or welfare payment, consented in writing to a deduction from the recipient’s allowance and to the payment to the government of the province or the municipal authority ...[+++] of the amount of the deduction;

Takes note of the EDPS's reply to the effect that because of its small size, it is assisted by the Office for the Administration and Payment of Individual Entitlements (PMO) in handling the social allowances files, that the information relating to family and dependent child allowances is updated by the PMO once a year on the basis of specific forms addressed to the staff concerned through the EDPS, and that the social allowances are kept up-to-date on the basis of the information gathered through these forms. Welcomes the EDPS's intention to improve the monitoring of information relevant to the social allowances in view of the recomme ...[+++]ndation of the Court of Auditors, and invites the EDPS to report on the action taken in its Annual Activity Report;
