The death from cancer of a third Greek serviceman previously assigned to Bosnia adds to the toll from other countries, once more highlighting the serious impact of the use of depleted uranium on the health of local citizens and the servicemen involved in the NATO campaigns in Yugoslavia and the Gulf and still serving there.
Le troisième décès, des suites d’un cancer, d’un militaire grec ayant servi en Bosnie est venu alourdir la liste des victimes enregistrées dans d’autres pays, en remettant en pleine lumière la question des graves incidences de l’uranium appauvri sur la santé des habitants et des militaires qui ont participé aux opérations militaires de l’OTAN en Yougoslavie et dans le Golfe, ou qui servent dans ces régions.
