The Council also adopted today, without debate, the Europol budget for 1999, the report on the activities of the EDU for the first half of 1998, a progress report on the Europol computer system as well as two decisions concerning the exercise of the powers of the Europol Director following the entry into force of the Europol Convention and the transfer of the strategic management of the TECS project to the Management Board of Europol (see "A" points).
Le Conseil a également adopté ce jour, sans débat, le budget d'Europol pour 1999, le rapport sur les activités de l'UDE au cours du premier semestre 1998, un rapport sur l'état d'avancement des travaux en ce qui concerne le système informatique Europol ainsi que deux décisions relatives à l'exercice des fonctions de directeur d'Europol après l'entrée en vigueur de la Convention Europol et au transfert de la gestion stratégique du projet TECS au conseil d'administration d'Europol (voir points "A").
