Under the competition rules of the ECSC Treaty, the Commission has authorised ILVA SpA and FALCK SpA, two Italian steel manufacturers to conclude a specialisation agreement allowing Falck to specialise in the area of hot rolled narrow strip, heavy plate for construction and special bearing steels and alloy constructional steels and Ilva to specialise in the area of coated strip, heavy plate for tubes, shipbuilding and off- shore rigs as well as stainless steel and alloy constructional steels.
In Anwendung der Wettbewerbsregeln des EGKS-Vertrages hat die Kommission eine Spezialisierungsvereinbarung zwischen Ilva SpA und Falck SpA, zwei italienischen Stahlproduzenten, genehmigt, durch die sich Falck im Bereich des Warmbands, der Baugrobbleche, der Edelstahllangerzeugnisse fuer Lager und der Langerzeugnisse aus legiertem Baustahl und Ilva im Bereich der Bleche mit ueberzug, der Roehrengrobbleche, der Bleche fuer Schiffbau und Offshore-Anlagen sowie der Langerzeugnisse aus nicht- rostendem Stahl und Baustahl spezialisiert.
