[16] Some 2 500 Brazilian students have participated at the EC’s “ALBAN” higher education programme for Latin America since 2003: this represents 30% of all Latin American participants.

25. Building on the achievements of ALFA, the Commission will quickly establish a pilot, postgraduate, scholarship programme targeting the most suitable professionals and postgraduate students from Latin American countries.
