À ce jour, la BEI a contribué, par ses financements, à l’essor des infrastructures géorgiennes dans les secteurs de l'énergie et de l'eau (appui à la mise en place de lignes de transport d’électricité haute tension, par exemple), à la remise en état de la cascade des centrales hydroélectriques d’Enguri et Vardnili ainsi qu’à la réparation et à la modernisation d'installations hydrauliques municipales.
To date, the EIB has provided funds for the development of Georgia’s energy and water infrastructure, including loans to support the construction of high-voltage power transmission lines, the rehabilitation of the Enguri and Vardnili cascade of hydropower plants and the repair and upgrading of municipal water facilities.
