- (DA) Monsieur le Président, il est assez surprenant que la Commission n’ait pas encore trouvé de solution à la question de l’exportation de produits en provenance d’Israël bénéficiant d’un accès préférentiel et que, sachant à quel point Israël a insisté jusqu’à présent sur sa propre interprétation de sa région, la Commission veuille, de surcroît, laisser le soin à Israël de proposer une solution permettant aux États membres d’identifier quelles marchandises ont été produites dans les colonies illégales, de manière à pouvoir prélever un droit sur ces dernières.
– (DA) Mr President, it is quite incredible that the Commission has still not found a solution to the issue of the export from Israel of goods with preferential access and that, knowing how Israel has so far insisted upon its own interpretation of its own area, the Commission wants now, into the bargain, to leave it to Israel to propose a solution enabling the Member States to identify which goods have been produced in the illegal settlements, so that duty can be claimed on them.
