Il s'agit notamment du puffin des Baléares, du puffin fuligineux, du puffin yelkouan et du goéland d'Audouin, qui sont capturés accidentellement dans les pêcheries palangrières dans les eaux de l'UE, et de l'eider de Steller, du plongeon catmarin, du plongeur arctique, du grèbe esclavon et du harle piette, qui se font capturer dans les pêcheries à filets fixes, principalement en mer Baltique.
These include the Balearic shearwater, Sooty shearwater, Yelkouan sheatwater and Audouin's gull incidentally caught in long line fisheries in EU waters as well as the Steller's eider, red-throated and black throated divers, Slavnoian grebe and smew which are bycaught in static net fisheries, primarily in the Baltic Sea.
