2 Nonobstant les dispositions du paragraphe 1.2, les Gouvernements contractants doivent décider de la portée de l'application du présent chapitre et des sections pertinentes de la partie A du Code ISPS aux installations portuaires situées sur leur territoire qui, bien qu'elles soient utilisées principalement par des navires qui n'effectuent pas de voyages internationaux, doivent parfois desservir des navires arrivant d'un voyage international ou partant pour un tel voyage.
2 Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 1.2, Contracting Governments shall decide the extent of application of this chapter and of the relevant sections of part A of the ISPS Code to those port facilities within their territory which, although used primarily by ships not engaged on international voyages, are required, occasionally, to serve ships arriving or departing on an international voyage.
