Suite à l'interruption accidentelle du trafic sur l'autoroute Munich- Innsbruck-Brenner, qui est l'axe principal nord-sud pour l'Europe, causée par l'effondrement mi-juillet 1990 d'un pont dans la vallée de l'Inn (Kufstein) , la situation du trafic entre l'Allemagne, l'Autriche et l'Italie s'est gravement détériorée.
Following an accidental interruption in traffic on the motorway between Munich, Innsbruck and the Brenner - the most heavily used north-south route in Europe - because a bridge in the Inn valley (at Kufstein) collapsed in the middle of July, the traffic situation on routes between Germany, Austria and Italy has seriously deteriorated.
